Slate, glass, and ceramic do not behave like the plywood presets that come with a diode laser. Published recipes also disagree with each other. The useful page is the one that shows the source, the blank, and the test that should come next.
How a number gets on the site
- If a maker or a manufacturer published it, we link the page and name the blank.
- If a cell says “not stated,” the source left it out. We do not fill the gap with a guess.
- A chart is a starting point. The post tells you how to run a grid before you trust it on a paid job.
What this site is not
We are not xTool, ComMarker, or any machine maker. A comparison that is built from spec sheets says so. We do not invent star ratings. Prices on merchant sites change, and the button is there so you can check the current one.
